01/01/09 - New Logo LaunchedThe new CCNSG logo will be officially launched on 1 January 2009 and the existing logo will be withdrawn from further use. Leaflets and posters will be sent out to Training Providers, clients and contractors advising them of the new logo. All Safety Passports with the old style logo will still be valid until its expiry date.

4th November 2008 - Standardisation Meeting The meeting is to take place in the Manchester area 4th November 2008. The venue is at Etrop Grange near Manchester Airport. To make it easier for people to travel the CCNSG are considering holding these meetings regionally in 2009. 1/7/2008: Supervising Safety CourseThe new Supervising Safety Course was launched and this is purchased through a licence agreement. The course has been developed to be more user friendly and is now in line with other training materials currently on the market. The old supervisor course is now void. 21/5/2008: Standardisation MeetingThe CCNSG meeting for all Training Providers is at the Etrop Grange Manchester. A preview of the new Supervising Safety Course will be shown. The Training Providers will be updated on all the current events and changes within the CCNSG and in turn the Training Providers will be able to give their feedback. 11/5/08: The Standard Operating ProceduresThe new CCNSG Standard Operating Procedures have been completed and sent out to all the Training Providers. It is important that all registered tutors and Training Providers familiarise themselves with the new procedures. 1/2/2008: InterpretersCCNSG can now provide interpreters if CCNSG courses are required in a foreign language. The interpreter will work along side the tutor delivering the course. Application forms and guidelines for this process can be obtained from the website under the title of foreign languages. 01/11/07: CCNSG Scheme ReviewThe CCNSG committee have employed Hewell Taylor Freed and Associates as consultants to review the Standard Operating Procedures. The review is to cover all aspects of the scheme from Training Provider delivery to the administration and management of the scheme. The outcome of this review is to have a Health and Training Scheme with robust standard operating procedures. 01/10/07:The CCNSG Supervisor CourseThe New CCNSG Supervisor Course is expected to be launched in March 2008.01/09/07:The CCNSG Polish CourseThe CCNSG course delivered in Polish is now in its second phase of the pilot and all Approved Training Providers have been invited to participate. The course is still under review and changes are likely to take place within the next six months. |
